UAE extends ban on travelers from India third time until June 30

The United Arab Emirates has further extended the ban on travelers from India, for the third time. Passenger flights from India have been suspended by UAE due to the current COVID-19 situation. Previously, the country had imposed the travel ban until 14 June, but has extended now.

It has also been added that those people with UAE nationals and holders of UAE Golden Visas will be exempted from the rule, but they will have to follow the proper guidelines issued by the government. Not only India, but the ban also applies to those who have been to Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the 14 days before their travel to the UAE.

A statement by the UAE officials say, “Furthermore, passengers who have transited through India in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE.”
