Moscow, the capital of Russia, is a vibrant city dotted with some of the most outstanding colourful architecture. From the very beautiful Saint Basil’s Cathedral and Red Square to Moscow Kremlin, there are several structures donning shades of blue, white, red and green. Red Square

The gorgeous Red Square in the heart of Moscow is one of the oldest and largest squares in the city and in the whole of Europe. The historic centre is the landmark of Moscow, with beautiful buildings surrounding it. The region has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990.

 

Moscow Kremlin

Kremlin, meaning Fortress Inside a City, is one of the most-visited attractions in the city of Moscow. It was founded by Rurikids, the Russian ruling dynasty and has palaces, cathedrals, and colourful towers. Now, it serves as the royal residence of the President of Russia.

 

Saint Basil’s Cathedral

This cathedral needs no introduction. The vibrant structure looks like a Disney castle and attracts travellers from across the globe. It is one of the top places to visit in Moscow and is a significant landmark in the city set in the middle of Red Square. The cathedral is a treat to sore eyes!

 

Cathedral of the Archangel

This is the place you go if your eyes want to see shades of gold! Situated between the Great Bell Tower and the Great Kremlin Palace, the place will charm you with its Italian Renaissance architectural style. The domes of the churches are painted in gold and the original structure dates back to 1333!

 

Bolshoi Theatre

The only colour you’ll see here is white in its purest form. This neoclassical building is simply splendid. It’s a perfect place for art lovers, and for those who wish to witness the cultural side of Russia. People often come here to witness live performances of opera and ballet.
