The recently completed Trans Arunachal Drive (TAD) has created many new travel destinations. TAD covers a total of 2000 km through Arunachal, from valleys to mountains, and has discovered many new places to explore for tourists.
TAD introduced new destinations from Arunachal such as Lima, Riche, Bomjir, Jeck, Marian, Kambu, and Gori. Currently, the state has some connectivity issues as areas like Upper Savant Siri and Divan Valley have not yet entered the tourism cycle.
TAD is to introduce Arunachal as one of India’s next self-driving vacation destinations. This puts Arunachal in a very good position on the tourist map of India. Many of these destinations are remote and there are no major hotels to stay in, so this move also benefits rural tourism.
