Melia’s 150+ Gets TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award

Meliá Hotels International has received numerous awards from the most important travel review site on the Internet, with 156 hotels receiving the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award, a result of the company’s commitment to constantly raising the quality of its hotels to offer the best possible experiences to guests, in spite of the new health and safety measures hotel companies have had to take to adapt to the current circumstances.

The Travellers’ Choice Award indicates the high level of satisfaction and the positive guest experience in these hotels based on real customer reviews.

Hotels from all over the world and from all the different Meliá Hotels International brands have received the Travellers’ Choice Award, with three hotels awarded the Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Award. Located in Cuba, Tanzania and Spain respectively, the Meliá Cayo Coco, Meliá Serengeti Lodge and ME Sitges Terramar are rated among the most outstanding hotels in the whole world, earning the highest ratings from customers and ranking among the select 1% of the world’s best hotels on TripAdvisor.

As Gabriel Escarrer, Vice President and CEO of Meliá Hotels International explains, “at Meliá we do the best we can every single day to improve the experience of our guests, adapting to their new needs and offering them quality and safety during their stays. After more than 60 years of experience in the hotel industry, our service vocation is one of our greatest attributes, and the trust our customers place in Meliá is the best reward we could ever receive for the effort we are making to improve the value proposition of our brands”.
