COVID-19 updates: Spain decided to ease entry rules for unvaccinated tourists

Shortly before the peak summer season, Spain decided to ease the entry requirements for unvaccinated tourists from countries other than the European Union.

Prior to this announcement, only persons with proof of vaccination or COVID 19 recovery documents were allowed to enter in the country.

New immigration regulations allow unvaccinated tourists with negative COVID tests to enter Spain. It is important to have a RT- PCR test 72 hours before departure or an antigen test 24 hours before departure. According to the new COVID 19 entry rules, all children under the age of 12 are not required to show evidence of vaccination.
