To celebrate the Pride and the tenth anniversary of Born This Way, Lady Gaga and Donatella collaborated for a capsule collection benefiting the Born This Way Foundation, the singer’s charity dedicated to mental health support for young people, particularly LGBTQIA youth.
Gaga and Donatella are long time friends and have the same charitable nature. The first half of the collaboration included specially designed t shirt and matching beret that features rainbow shades and the house’s iconic Medusa logo.
Piece de resistance is a custom replica of the Versace leather jacket Gaga wore during her Born This Way Ball tour. The piece had sharp shoulders and metal mesh, which was standout of her performance wardrobe.
The new version, which took 400 hours to make by hand in Versace’s Milan atelier, promises to be striking as the original.
