Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer iwas released on Thursday coinciding with festivals like Pongal, Lohri, and Makar Sankranti and is doing well in international market. Its Day 1 collection is better than Ajith Kumar starrer Thunivu and Thalapathy Vijay headlined Varisu.
As stated in AndhraBoxOffice.com, the film’s worldwide collection on its opening day is about Rs 48 crore. The film received mixed reviews from critics. As per usual, we will witness the high-voltage clash of Tollywood films- Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy.
For unversed, Veera Simha Reddy is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a dual role of father and son along with Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Honey Rose and Duniya Vijay.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Veera Simha Reddy’s score and soundtrack were composed by S. Thaman.
