The Hindi version of Shetty’s Kantara is breaking many box office records and Hindi audience continues to shower love on the latest Kananda movie Kantara. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Kantara *#Hindi version*… Crosses *lifetime biz* of #KGF [Part 1; #Hindi] Week 3 will be higher than Week 1 and Week 2 Will cross ₹ 50 cr mark in Week 3 THIS FILM IS TRULY UNSTOPPABLE…(sic).”
For unversed, Kantara is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film which stars Rishab Shetty as a Kambala champion. The movie is written and directed by Shetty himself. Kantara was released on 30 September 2022 and was produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Hombale Films.
The Hindi version of Kantara has already beat the lifetime collection of KGF: Chapter 1 (Hindi) and turned out to be a huge commercial success. It has emerged as the second highest-grossing Kannada film of all time, as well as the second highest-grossing Kannada film of 2022.
