Manikarnika star Kangana Ranaut recently expressed her views on a statement made by poet-lyricist Javed Akhtar about the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. She lauded him for slamming Pakistan while attending an event in Lahore.
In the clip, Javed Akhtar is seen addressing a gathering and saying that the perpetrators came from Pakistan and are roaming freely here. Javed Akhtar complained that Pakistan has never hosted an Indian singer, whereas, India is always welcoming Pakistani artists. He also said that two countries should not blame each other as it won’t solve any problem.
Praising his comment, Kangana wrote, “Jab main Javed saab ki poetry sunti hoon toh lagta tha yeh kaise Maa Swarsati ji ki in pe itni kripa hai, lekin dekho kuch toh sachchai hoti hai insaan mein tabhi toh khudai hoti hai unke saath mein … Jai Hind @Javedakhtarjadu saab… Ghar mein ghuss ke maara .. ha ha”
On the work front, Kangana will be seen in several new movies such as Emergency, Tiku Weds Sheru, Sita: The Incarnation and Tejas.
